Çinta has been working for over 10 years as the technical director at the Official Association of Biologists of the Basque Country. She also has more than 20 years’ experience as a scientific translator, language teacher (English and German) and yoga instructor.

Vega holds a PhD in Biology from the University of the Basque Country. As a researcher, she has worked and studied at several universities throughout Europe. In 2011, she founded the NorArte studio, combining her two passions —drawing and science— to help clients improve their scientific communication and outreach.

Working methodology

From the start of our mentoring, you will have immediate access to our online platform, where you will find more than 5 hours of video tutorials covering all relevant aspects of communication.

We will conduct several online sessions, recommending a minimum of three. During these sessions, we will review the content of your presentation, identify problem areas for more specific advice, review the structure and design of your slides, discuss aspects such as English phonetics and intonation, and perfect your delivery.

You will receive detailed feedback and answers to all your questions.

The number of sessions will depend on your specific needs, but will generally include:

  1. Initial contact session to establish your goals and needs, as well as get to know your field of study and discuss your content.
  2. Focus session on presentation structure and slide design.
  3. Final rehearsal session, where we will practice the presentation and make final adjustments as needed.
