“Science That Enters Through the Eyes”
May 2025
I recently had the opportunity to collaborate with Puntua magazine, in their section Adituen Esanetan (What the Experts Say), where I share a reflection on how much work we still have ahead of us to raise awareness and visibility of our profession.
The piece is based on real experiences that—surprisingly—continue to occur even in 2025. In the end, it’s all about making not only scientific illustration better known, but also science communication as a whole—and through it, science itself.

“Communicating Without Words”New Temporary Exhibition at the Laboratorium Museum in Bergara
April 2025
For the Norarte team, it has been a true honor to participate in the coordination of this fantastic exhibition, alongside exhibition designer Jordi Rabascall, under the umbrella of the Laboratorium Museum, with Rosa Errazkin leading the project.
Carles has been a mentor to all of us, and with great affection we’ve coordinated this well-deserved tribute to him and his partner Carmen More, celebrating 45 years dedicated to scientific illustration—making science visible and training new generations of illustrators.
Zorionak, Carles and Carmen! You truly deserve this and much more.

The Imaginary of Geology
May 2025
On the occasion of the 6th edition of the conference ‘Geology for poets, myopic and clueless’, we were invited to participate in the field trip of the congress, which this year took place in the cave of Pozalagua (Bizkaia). This cave stands out in a special way for the great proliferation of eccentric stalactites.
We had the privilege of taking a guided tour with Laura Damas and Arantza Aranburu, and we also took the opportunity to make some drawings in situ. On the occasion of this conference, we were interviewed by the media together with other participants in the meeting: read here.
